There is no better way to expand your refrigerated or frozen storage than making use of walk-in fridges and freezers. For back of house or as a display, walk-in refrigeration is the best price per cubic foot there is. For example, let's say we need refrigerated storage for our back of house / commercial kitchen. If we buy a standard 2 door stainless steel fridge with 46ft³ (cubic feet) of storage, that we can expect to pay about $2700.00 for, we would be paying about $58.70 for each cubic foot of refrigerated space. By comparison, if we were to install a walk-in fridge that was 8' x 8' x 8' (total of 512ft³), for about $7500.00, we would only be paying $14.65 per ft³. Now obviously not everyone needs that much space and lots of times the 2 door fridge is the best tool for the job. That being said, I have had many customers that have come to us for refrigeration, looking to add it to an existing collection of fridges they use for storage. They may have only needed one unit when they started out, and as the business grew, they kept adding refrigeration to meet their needs.
